Participating at Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s trips and activities is not associated with danger or high risks. However, accidents may arise and could inflict participants and/or participants equipment, like other low-risks activities. Lysefjorden Adventure AS has highly qualified guides, and bring necessary safety equipment at every trips and activities. Participating at Lysefjorden Adventure AS activities, participants are responsible for any possible injuries or death on person or own equipment. Lysefjorden Adventure AS disclaim any liability and action for damages participants or relatives will promote against Lysefjorden Adventure AS, Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s guides or their collaborator.   Lysefjorden Adventure AS will not be responsible for any extra costs participants may have, related to being part of any activities organized by Lysefjorden Adventure AS.

Participants are obligated to follow guidelines and instructions given by Lysefjorden Adventure ahead of any trip or during a trip by one of our guides. Participants are obligated to deal with those physical- or mental health and required equipment for trips, activities or arrangements. By participating at Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s trips, activities or arrangements, participant hereby confirm to be in good enough physical- and mental health to participate.

By forwarding to payment, you confirm to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions for participating at Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s trips, activities and arrangement.

Payment

Payment of Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s trips, activities or arrangement needs to be paid in advance by the current payment options.

Tickets are personal, and can not be transferred to anyone else.

Lysefjorden Adventure uses third party for handling payment, and is not in possession of personal information associated to payment, and will not be responsible for any defaults by third party.

If any refund is issued, we are not responsible for changes in currencies from booking is done till refund is done.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS uses only acknowledged and safe payment methods.

Cancellation done by you

- Cancellation policy valid for bookings from 01.06.2020.

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure.
• Opportunity to sign travel insurance to cancel up to 1 hour before departure.
• Any expenses related to services to third party will be charged participant and deducted any refund.
• There is no refund on rentals, if not used on our tours.
• If a participant don’t show up at agreed time and place, there will be no refund.

-Cancellation of trips, activities or arrangement 5 days and more prior to start, 100% of your order will be refunded.

- Cancellation of trips, activities or arrangement 4 days or less prior to start, 0% of your order will be refunded.

 A cancellation fee of 250 NOK/person will be deducted from any refund.

There is no refund on rentals.

Any expense related to booking of services by third party, will be charged participant and be deducted from any refund.

 If a participant don’t show up at agreed time and place, Lysefjorden Adventure AS will consider this as cancellation from participant.

Cancellation done by Lysefjorden Adventure AS

If Lysefjorden Adventure AS have to cancel a trip, activity or arrangement, 100% of your order will be refunded.

If Lysefjorden Adventure AS have to canceling a trip, activity or arrangement due to conditions Lysefjorden Adventure AS don’t can prevail, for example weather conditions, natural disaster, accidents, strike, force majure or nearby causes,  participants will get the opportunity to reschedule planned activity.

However, if Lysefjorden Adventure AS have to cancel a trip, activity or arrangement for any reason after it's start, there will not be any refund.

 If Lysefjorden Adventure AS or one of our guides consider a participant can inflict his/her self or other participant for health- or injury risk, Lysefjorden Adventure AS will claim the right to canceling the trip, activity or arrangement for this person.

 If Lysefjorden Adventure AS or one of our guides consider a participant to be unfit to participate or continue at the trip, activity or arrangement, Lysefjorden Adventure AS will consider it as breach of contract or cancellation done by the participant.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS reserve the right to cancel any scheduled activities if less than minimum number of persons are participating. You will be able to rebook the scheduled activity or get 100% refund.

Insurance

Participants are self responsible to hold own travel- and cancellation insurance, and any additional insurance for participate to Lysefjorden Adventure AS’s trips, activities and arrangements.

You can buy travel insurance upon checkout which allows you to cancel up to 1 hour before departure.

Summary

When booking a trip, equipment rental, submit contact form or if you chat with Lysefjorden Adventure AS, Lysefjorden Adventure AS will collect some mandatory information about you. This is the name and email address that Lysefjorden Adventure AS ensures for you. In addition, information is obtained when you pay a trip or rent equipment by bank card.

If you book a trip (with or without rental of equipment), you will receive Lysefjorden Adventure AS email and your mailing address. In addition, Lysefjorden Adventure AS also collects your payment information.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS does not publish any of your data and we never distribute or sell your information to a third party.

To contact Lysefjorden Adventure AS, or book or hire equipment from us, Lysefjorden Adventure AS must have your consent to collect, process and store necessary personal information. 1. Declaration of consent

When you contact Lysefjorden Adventure AS we form, chat or book a tour / leier utsty, you grant Lysefjorden Adventure AS consent to the collection, storage and processing of some personal information. Lysefjorden Adventure AS uses this information only to provide you with a service. Lysefjorden Adventure AS does not pass any of your information on to others. Lysefjorden Adventure AS, at the general manager, is the treatment manager for the company's processing of personal data. Where the daily responsibility is delegated, it will appear in the points below. The delegation covers only the tasks and not the responsibility. This is a statement that tells you what information you require when Lysefjorden Adventure AS collects information (section 19 of the Personal Data Act). Personal data being processed

You can use Lysefjorden Adventure AS in different ways. Below we will explain our processing of personal data using the services Lysefjorden Adventure AS offers.

Personal data is data and assessments that can be linked to an individual. For example, name, place of residence, phone number, email and IP address. It can also be a combination of the ones that make it possible to track which person it is about.

What we have about data about you is what you provide when contacting us via email chatting with us via our website, or booking tour / equipment via our booking system. The information is stored in order to provide the service or product you have ordered, as well as to prevent fraud.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS ID at Google Analytics is UA-98400431-1. Information from Google Analytics is unidentified. Unidentified means that we can not track the information we collect back to the individual user.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS has a data processing agreement with its partners.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS will store information when you contact us through, for example, email and chat.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS does not collect personal identification numbers or personal credit card information.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS has an agreement with Crisp.app for live chat via website

Lysefjorden Adventure AS has an agreement with Webflow which is the platform on which the website is based.

Lysefjorden Adventure AS has an agreement with TrekkSoft, which is responsible for the booking system.

In order to create a user-friendly website, it is crucial to look at visitors and members' usage patterns. This information is provided through Google Analytics. Cookies (text files that the website stores on the user's machine) is used. These register the IP address, as well as the movements that visitors make on the website. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; How many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, what websites users come from and what browsers are using. None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the site to you as an individual. This is information stored on Google Analytics servers.

An IP address is defined as a personal information because it can be traced back to a particular hardware and thus to an individual. Lysefjorden Adventure AS uses Google Analytics its tracking code that anonymizes the IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the stored IP address can not be used to identify the individual user.

Insight

You are required to know what personal data is registered about you at Lysefjorden Adventure AS and how this information is processed, cf. the provision in section 18 of the Personal Data Act.

Correction and deletion

In certain cases, you may claim correction and deletion of information about yourself, cf. section 27 and section 28 of the Personal Information Act. For example, this may include information that is incorrect and / or incomplete or information. Lysefjorden Adventure AS has no access to treat. But, in essence, correction and deletion are attributed to the member himself.

How is the information deleted?

Your personal information will be handled by Lysefjorden Adventure AS until two weeks after the correspondence has ended, or until two weeks after the agreed guided tour has been completed. Your personal information will then be deleted. This unless you wish to continue the contact and the correspondence after this.

Information you leave by booking tour / rental equipment is kept for 5 years in accordance with the Norwegian Accounting Act, cf §13.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

Lysefjorden Adventure AS reserves the right at any time to change the privacy statement. Such a change will apply from the time an updated privacy statement is published on Lysefjorden Adventure AS
